In the magical land of Dyfed lived a kind and noble prince named Pwyll. He was a fair ruler who cared deeply for his people. One day, while hunting in a misty forest, Pwyll chased a great stag. His hounds soon crossed paths with another pack of hounds, shining white and unlike any he had ever seen. They belonged to Arawn, King of Annwn, the Otherworld.

To make up for his mistake, Pwyll bravely agreed to change places with Arawn for one year and one day. Pwyll ruled Annwn wisely and, at the end of the year, defeated Arawn’s enemy, bringing peace to the Otherworld. When the time came to return, Arawn thanked Pwyll, and the two became lifelong friends.

Back in Dyfed, Pwyll met Rhiannon, a magical woman riding a white horse. She chose Pwyll to be her husband, and together they overcame challenges and were happily married. They later had a son named Pryderi who mysteriously disappeared at birth.

Though Rhiannon was wrongly blamed, the truth was finally revealed, and their lost son was returned to them at last.
