It’s a Yes!

We are delighted to announce that businesses across Cardiff city centre and Cardiff Bay have delivered a record-breaking mandate for a new five-year term for FOR Cardiff, in the best BID ballot result ever recorded in Wales.

With 92% of businesses voting ‘yes’ by number and 97% by rateable value, this record-breaking result is a huge vote of confidence in our work and what we can achieve together.

From 1st December 2026, we will begin an exciting new chapter as we expand to include Cardiff Bay, bringing together two of the capital’s key commercial destinations under one shared vision. Together, we will continue to champion our business community, invest in the places that matter most and deliver projects that make Cardiff an even better place to work, live and visit.

We would like to say a huge thank you to every business that took the time to vote. Your support, engagement and belief in our vision means we can continue working on behalf of businesses across the city for another five years.

We are incredibly proud of everything we have achieved together over the last decade, and we’re even more excited about what’s to come. We can’t wait to get started on delivering our ambitious plans.
