Supporting the already thriving night time economy in Cardiff is a huge priority for the BID team, particularly when the eyes of the nation are on the city for large sporting events such as the Six Nations.

After consulting with the BID Night Time Economy group the decision was made to create a temporary taxi rank and fund three additional Taxi Marshals outside of Howell’s on St Mary Street during the Wales V Ireland Six Nations match on the 10th March. The BID has also funded the existing Taxi Marshal team to be able to work longer hours on that evening to ensure that visitors and residents will be able to benefit from safety and reassurance this invaluable team provide.
