1. The Promoter 

The promoter of this prize draw is Cardiff BID Ltd (known as FOR Cardiff), a Business Improvement District (BID) that works to make Cardiff a better place for businesses, residents, and visitors. Our offices are located at 7 St Andrew’s Cres, Cardiff CF10 3DA.

2. The Prize Draw

2.1 By submitting your vote you are automatically entering the prize draw (unless stated otherwise) and you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

2.2 The prize draw is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary. 

2.3 For help with submitting your survey answers and for any queries in relation to the prize draw, please contact: info@forcardiff.com  

3. Eligibility

3.1 This prize draw is open to all individuals aged 18 years or over, excluding: 

(a) employees of FOR Cardiff; 

(b) employees of agents or suppliers of FOR Cardiff or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the survey, prize draw or their administration; and 

(c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.   

3.2 A maximum of two (2) entries per person are permitted, one via FOR Cardiff voting form and one via Capital FM voting form. Any other entries from the same person will be disqualified. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted, and joint submissions are not allowed.  

3.3 In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize you may win. FOR Cardiff may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the prize draw. 

3.4 FOR Cardiff will not accept prize draw entries that are: 

(a) automatically generated by computer or created by artificial intelligence (including but not limited to chatbots such as ChatGPT or similar software applications); 

(b) completed by third parties or in bulk; 

(c) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; 

(d) photocopies, screenshots or and not originals; or 

(e) incomplete. 

3.5 FOR Cardiff reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw.  

4. How to Enter

4.1 The prize draw opens on 6th February at 9am and closes on 26th February at 12:01pm. All competition entries received after the closing date are automatically disqualified.   

4.2 All entries must include your name, surname and email address.

4.3 To enter the prize draw, you must complete the voting form on either or both FOR Cardiff’s voting form and/or Capital FM voting form.

4.4 FOR Cardiff does not accept any responsibility for any prize draw entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete or corrupted, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, or computer hardware or software failure.  

4.5 FOR Cardiff will not accept proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the prize draw.  

5. The Prize

5.1 The prize is comprised of ALL following elements:

• A bar tab at the winning restaurant worth up to £120, to be used in one (1) visit. Any remaining monies between any underspent amount and £120 won’t be provided as cash or vouchers. Any monies spent over £120 to be paid by the winner.
•  £150 Cardiff Digital Gift Card. 
• 2 Tickets to attend UB40 concert at Utilita Arena in June 2026.
• An overnight stay at Parkgate Hotel (booking T&Cs apply).

5.2 The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. 

5.3 The prize does not include travel or any other expenses. 

5.4 The prize is supplied by FOR Cardiff who reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative prize of equal or greater value in the event that the original prize is unavailable. 

5.5 The prize is not negotiable or transferable.  

5.6 The prize must be booked or redeemed within 6 months of notification of award to the winner.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

6.1 All eligible entries received will be entered into a random prize draw. One winner will be chosen at random on Friday 27th February.

6.2 The winner will be notified by email by 12:00 PM on Friday, 27th February, using the email address provided in the submitted entry. 

6.3 The winner must respond to the notification email to confirm their acceptance of the prize and provide any necessary details by 12:01pm on Wednesday, 4th March. 

6.4 FOR Cardiff will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed their prize within 3 business days of the notification, FOR Cardiff reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the remaining entries. 

6.5 FOR Cardiff must make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. FOR Cardiff will share the initials of the winner after the winner has claimed their prize upon email request.  

6.6 If you object to any or all of your initials being made available, please contact FOR Cardiff at info@forcardiff.com. In such circumstances, FOR Cardiff must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request. 

6.7 You may be asked to participate in publicity relating to this prize draw if you are selected as a winner. 

7. Data Protection

7.1 By entering this prize draw, you agree that any personal information provided by you in the survey will be used by FOR Cardiff for the purposes of administering the prize draw and to contact you if you win. 

7.2 Any personal data will be processed in accordance with FOR Cardiff’s Privacy Policy, available at FOR Cardiff PRIVACY POLICY 

8. Ownership Of Survey Entries and Intellectual Property Rights

8.1 All survey entries and any accompanying material submitted to FOR Cardiff will become the property of FOR Cardiff on receipt and will not be returned. 

8.2 By submitting your survey entry and any accompanying material, you agree to: 

(a) assign absolutely to FOR Cardiff all your intellectual property rights held in the survey entry with full title guarantee; and 

(b) waive absolutely all moral rights, in and to your survey entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world. 

9. General

9.1 The decision of FOR Cardiff regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it. 

9.2 FOR Cardiff reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so. 

9.3 The prize draw will be governed by English and Welsh law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts. 

9.4 Insofar as is permitted by law, FOR Cardiff, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of FOR Cardiff, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
