From August 2018 – our Cardiff Tasting Tours will be running on Fridays and Saturdays. 

The tour itself is a great way to experience Cardiff, try some delicious Welsh food and drink tastings, learn some history and enjoy some good company with an experienced guide. The best part is you won’t need lunch afterwards.

On the menu, tea, bara brith & laverbread scones , Welsh cheese & charcuterie, Welsh beer and cider, laverbread & cockles, faggots and  warm welshcakes.

This beautiful capital city has a thriving food scene – Welsh signature foods, ethnic and continental foods, some locally produced, markets and festivals. We walk around the city centre calling in to specialist food producers and retailers, Cardiff indoor market, passing beautiful parks, majestic civic centre buildings and key landmarks including Cardiff Castle and Principality Stadium  ‘the home of Welsh rugby’.

Fabulous tour guide and great day of sampling food and drinks

This was a great walking tour around the city centre of Cardiff. The tour included a generous sampling of traditional foods and drinks. Found the best Bara Brith and Welsh cakes! The tour guide was very knowledgeable in both the history of Cardiff and the history/ preparation of the food. The walking tour had plenty of stops so no one ever needed extra breaks and you didn’t leave hungry. It doesn’t matter if this is your first time in Cardiff or have been there many times, this tour will be a highlight.
