APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR EQUALITY CITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

Applications are now open for FOR Cardiff’s Equality City Leadership Development Programme, which launches in January 2026.

The fully funded programme aims to support individuals from under-represented backgrounds to develop their leadership management skills. Employees of FOR Cardiff member businesses are invited to apply for a place on the six-part course, which runs between January and June 2026.

The programme includes a mix of in-person and virtual half-day sessions (9:30am – 12:30pm) covering key leadership topics:

  • Leading for Excellence: 23rd January 2026, City Centre Campus CAVC
  • Understanding How to Organise and Delegate: 26th February 2026, Virtual
  • Performance Management (including Coaching and Mentoring): 19th March 2026, Virtual
  • Resilience: 23rd April 2026, City Centre Campus CAVC
  • Building Your Strengths and Capabilities: 21st May 2026, City Centre Campus CAVC
  • Team Building: 25th June 2026, City Centre Campus CAVC

The Equality City Leadership Development Programme forms part of FOR Cardiff’s Equality City project, an ongoing commitment to building a more inclusive and representative business community in the city.

It has been designed for individuals in the early stages of their career, particularly those who are seeking to step into their first management position however, anyone who fits the eligibility criteria and is an employee of a FOR Cardiff member business is welcome to apply.
