Dementia Friendly Activity: Strike! Exhibition and print-making

Join National Museum Cardiff and visit the Streic! 84-85 Strike! Exhibition which tells the story of the Miners’ Strike of 1984-85 and take part in a printmaking activity afterwards, inspired by what you have seen.

The session involves:

  • A warm welcome in a dedicated space
  • A chance to explore and enjoy our exhibition and collections
  • An opportunity to take part in a light craft activity
  • A warm drink and a chat

The session will take place within the museum so there are not any long distances to walk. It lasts approximately 2.5 hours with breaks and refreshments will be provided at the museum café. Information on accessibility at National Museum Cardiff can be found here.

These opportunities are open to both those living with dementia and those supporting people living with dementia.

Booking is essential. To book a space, please register by clicking on the ‘Book tickets’ box to the right’. Alternatively, please use the contact details below.

Should travel be a barrier to you participating, support is available and can be discussed.

For more information, or to discuss any concerns you may have, please get in touch by email mims@museumwales.ac.uk or phone 029 2057 3418.
