Join local author and illustrator Jack Skivens for a FREE arts and crafts workshop, and poetry reading, inspired by Cardiff’s new, free, light and sound installation ‘The Light of Winter’.
This winter, Jack’s animated illustrations and poem about the wren, robin, and starling have been popping up around the city centre to help people discover the free family installation, ‘The Light of Winter’, from FOR Cardiff.
The children’s arts and crafts workshop will give children the chance to create and paint their own birds to take home, and will include a poetry reading of Jack’s ‘Light of Winter’ poem.
Families are invited to then visit the free installation, located next to the museum at St John’s Garden.
The event will be held at the Cardiff Story Museum. The Old Library, The Hayes, Cardiff CF10 1BH
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Recommended for ages 4+
