Skid Row at Cardiff University Student’s Union

The first rebellion started in 1986. Skid Row’s self-titled debut saw great commercial success and ultimately went multi-platinum with the help of hits including “18 and Life,” “I Remember You,” and “Youth Gone Wild.” Their follow up album Slave to the Grind debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top 200 album chart (the first metal album to do so), received strong critical praise, and sold over a million copies. The band took a few years off, returning in 1995 with Subhuman Race.
