Women’s Rights Conference at Sherman Theatre
Hosted by Women’s Equality Network Wales.
Our Women’s Rights conference in Cardiff, bringing together speakers, workshops and experts in women’s rights from Wales, across the UK and working internationally.
Our Key Note Speaker Virgínia Brás Gomes is a United Nations expert in women’s economic, social and cultural rights within the framework of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR).
We will also hear from sister organisations from across the UK speaking about the UN Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) process and understand better how women’s rights are threatened by ‘Brexit’.
