Giant Paw Patrol, Blaze and the Monster Machines and Shimmer & Shine models take over Cardiff this Easter

FOR Cardiff brings Wales’ first toy brick model trail to the city centre for school holidays.

The 15 models of the Nick Jr. favourites, including Chase, Skye and Abby Hatcher models will be painstakingly built from toy bricks and placed around St David’s Cardiff between 11 and 24 April.

The models, which measure up to 120cm in height and are made from over 149,000 toy bricks, will be on display for the entire Easter break, in this first for Wales.

The models will be free to view, and families are being encouraged to take part in FOR Cardiff’s trail to explore the centre to find all 15 models using the trail map. Once entrants have found all 15 models, they’ll be able to claim a prize as their reward.

Adrian Field, Executive Director of FOR Cardiff said:

“We’re excited to be hosting the first Nick Jr. toy brick model trail in Wales here in Cardiff this Easter. Children will get the chance to see their favourite characters like they’ve never seen them before and have a enjoy a great day out.

“Our remit is to enhance Cardiff’s position as a destination city. We are expecting to welcome more families into the city for this free event and hope they make the most of Cardiff’s fantastic hospitality and retail opportunities while they’re here.”

Christina Anthony, Bricklive Director, said,

“Our brick-built Nick Jr tour is a must for a family day out.

“Watching the kids explore and discover their favourite tv characters along the trail provides an incredible experience and memories that will last forever.”

The free Nick Jr. toy brick model trail presented by BRICKLIVE will take place from Monday 11 April until Sunday 24 April, inside St David’s Cardiff.

Trail maps will be available at St David’s shopping centre guest services desk, where entrants can return their maps to claim a special reward sticker.

FOR Cardiff are running a selfie competition on their Instagram channel with a chance to win one of 10 £10 gift cards. Entrants will be asked to take a picture beside their favourite Nick Jr sculpture, post it on Instagram using #NickJrCardiff and tagging @forcardiff.

An online survey will open from the 11th April where participants can give feedback from a trail. By completing the survey, respondents can opt into a competition to win a £40 gift card. Click here to enter the survey.
