FOR Cardiff aim to enhance and protect Cardiff’s environment through greening projects and sustainable transport initiatives.
Over the 2023 festive period, we collaborated with Cardiff Bus to introduce a Christmas Park and Ride service, which proved highly successful with over 3,000 users. This initiative not only facilitated convenient transport but also reduced 1.173 tonnes of CO2 emissions throughout the Christmas period. Additionally, as part of The Card, we offer a variety of sustainable transport options.
FOR Cardiff recognise and are dedicated to investing in areas of Cardiff city centre that require a bit of love. One way we do this is through seasonal floral decorations which add a splash of colour to the streets via our hanging baskets and planters.
We are currently investigating opportunities to implement welcoming and attractive public spaces to allow people to congregate and enjoy themselves, such as pocket parks.
