FOR Cardiff Member Training

FOR Cardiff is pleased to offer fully funded training opportunities to employees of FOR Cardiff member businesses.

To date, we have trained over 800 employees for free; saving our members thousands in training costs.

The current course schedule includes:

Fully Funded Training

Due to limited availability businesses are limited to two free spaces per course and six spaces per course type (e.g. First Aid) over a 12 month period.

Fully Funded Online Short Courses

30 minute targeted e-learning that can be completed at a time that suits you. Ideal for staff at all levels but can also be included as part of staff induction. Delegates will receive an e-certificate on completion of the course.

Fully Funded Drinkaware Training for Licensed Premises

Drinkaware Support Crew

A 30 minute e-learning course for all members of staff introducing them to methods of spotting and tips in supporting customers who may be vulnerable due to alcohol. Delegates will receive an e-certificate on completion of the course. This course is supported by the Cardiff Licensees Forum and is recommended for all staff that work in licensed premises. Child Sexual Exploitation and County Lines Awareness Training

Cardiff Against Business Crime, FOR Cardiff, British Transport Police and Crime Stoppers Cymru/Wales have collaborated to develop a 10 minute awareness video on ‘Child Sexual Exploitation and County Lines Drug Trafficking’.  The training is recommended for the hotel sector but is open to all member businesses. How Do I Apply?

Our training programme is only available to employees that work at FOR Cardiff member businesses who pay a levy. If you’re unsure whether your business is a member please check our member’s directory or get in touch. Businesses that have not paid their BID levy for the previous financial year will not be eligible.

To apply for a course please click the link beside each individual course you would like to sign-up to. The link will take you to an Eventbrite page where you can register your interest in a course. Details of the delegates you would like to sign-up will be required. Once you have registered your interest, we will verify that the delegates work for a FOR Cardiff member business and send further information on how to book your place. Members will be required to agree to our terms and conditions in order to confirm their booking.
