FOR Cardiff aim to enhance and protect Cardiff’s environment through greening projects and sustainable transport initiatives.
Over the 2023-2025 festive periods, we collaborated with Cardiff Bus to introduce a Christmas Park and Ride service, which proved highly successful with over 4,750 users. This initiative not only facilitated convenient transport but also reduced more than 2 tonnes of CO2 emissions throughout the Christmas period.
FOR Cardiff recognise and are dedicated to investing in areas of Cardiff city centre that require a bit of love. One way we do this is through seasonal floral decorations which add a splash of colour to the streets. Since 2021 we have brought over 2000 floral hanging baskets and planters to the city centre.
Our free bike marking events encourage active, sustainable travel while helping to keep cyclists safe and secure in Cardiff city centre. Alongside bike security marking to help deter theft, we also offer free basic repairs and maintenance checks to support more people choosing greener ways to travel.
