Drop in and get a free bike health check in the city centre

THIS SESSION WAS SO SUCCESSFUL WE WILL BE BRINGING IT BACK FOR ONE FINAL OCCASION ON WEDNESDAY 29TH JULY, SAME PLACE AND TIME, THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE!

As more and more people take to cycling around the city, it’s important to check your bike is functioning as it should. Join us on Working St adjacent to St John’s church and opposite the entrance into Queens Arcade, for a free drop-in bike maintenance session on Wednesday 8th July between 8am – 4pm. Social distancing measures will be in place and must be adhered to.

Our fully qualified mechanic will check your bike for:

  • General roadworthiness of each bike
  • Brake pads and brake cables are functioning properly
  • Gears are functioning properly
  • Wheels are spinning/aligned correctly
  • Tyres well inflated and no indication of any inner tube puncture

Simply come up to the FOR Cardiff gazebo and allow our mechanic to check your bicycle. If you have any particular problem, then please let him know. If extra time is available, he may be able to provide a more extensive servicing. If a serious problem is identified which is too time-intensive to be repaired at the session, an explanation and recommendation will be provided to the participant. Any additional cost, however, will be borne by the participant.
