Join Bird Kitchen Clothing on 25th April at The Classroom to celebrate women in food with six incredible guest speakers and a three course lunch.

Bird Jamboree is an event for chefs, cooks and home-cooks alike, to connect, be inspired and share great food.

The three course lunch will be prepared by student chefs at Cardiff and Vale College’s cookery school, making it an opportunity to support the next generation and foster a vibrant food scene right in the heart of Cardiff.

Guest speakers include:

Alissa Timoshkina: a writer, chef, podcast host, curator and an advocate for maternal wellbeing.

Betty Vandy: an African Food activist and educator, chef, food writer and social entrepreneur is on a mission to take up space in shaping the narrative of West African plant based Food

Kitty Tait: a baker and mental health champion, she got into baking when she was 14 to help her deal with anxiety and has never looked back. She now runs a microbakery with her dad in Oxfordshire, with queues forming down the street.

Nicole Pisani: co-founder and Executive Head Chef of Chefs in Schools and works on food education programme in the soon-to-be built School of Food in Hackney. She has been working in school food with the LEAP Federation since 2014.

Sabrina Gidda: a chef, consultant and a writer. She dipped her toes into the world of restaurant kitchens when she was studying for her Fashion and PR degree and never looked back.

Trine Hahnemman is all about sustainable food, organic produce, emphasis on vegetables, farm-to-table, diversity-and-storytelling, food cooked with love.
