Family Fun at St. David’s Dewi Sant
The free activities for children and parents at our FOR Families play area were one of the most popular activities this St. David’s Day. The FOR Families Bwrlwm area was managed by our partners, Menter Caerdydd.

St. David’s Dewi Sant Shopping Centre will be the hosts of our FOR Families play zone; find us near the Guest Services Desk on the first floor. With a warm welcome, fun activities for all ages and easy access to shops, cafés and restaurants, St. David’s Dewi Sant Shopping Centre is the perfect place to start your St. David’s Day celebrations.
Promoting and expanding the social use of the Welsh language in Cardiff, Menter Caerdydd are delivering the activities included in our FOR Families area. They have also kindly provided proofreading services.
With easy rail access into Cardiff Central and Queen Street, travelling into the city is part of the celebration, making it simple for everyone to enjoy free, family-friendly activities and discover Welsh culture along the way.
What’s a Family train ticket?
It’s a Return train ticket that lets two children under 16 travel free of charge with a fare-paying adult. Perfect for saving you money on family train travel.
