FOR Cardiff is proud to be the first BID in the UK to develop a dedicated ESG strategy, leading the way in setting a clear, structured approach to environmental and social impact within the sector.
Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles are increasingly central to how businesses and cities operate, and at FOR Cardiff they underpin much of our work across Cardiff city centre.
Our ESG strategy builds on years of delivering projects that support a more sustainable, inclusive and resilient city centre, from promoting active travel and safer streets to delivering free community events, supporting wellbeing initiatives and strengthening local partnerships.
Developed in consultation with our 800+ member businesses, the strategy focuses on collaboration, helping organisations connect with the tools and partnerships they need to progress their own ESG ambitions.
Guided by the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act, we work closely with public, private and third sector partners to align efforts around shared goals for a greener, fairer and more prosperous Cardiff.
At its core, the strategy is about partnership and practical action, creating lasting positive impact for businesses and the city as a whole.
