FOR Cardiff have partnered with the charity Keep Wales Tidy to offer Cardiff businesses and their teams FREE electrical item amnesty in the workplaces and around the city.
We are looking for city centre businesses to sign up to be amnesty points to collect donated electricals from businesses and teams across the city. FOR Cardiff will handle the collection and management of the recycling process and there will be no cost to your business for taking part in the scheme. This service will help your business comply with new Welsh Government regulations on workplace disposal of small electrical items.
This service will provide:
· Secure data wipe: Donate your items to KWT, and they will securely wipe all data free of charge before processing the device. Your privacy is guaranteed.
· Reuse and recycle: Once wiped, KWT will then ensure the equipment is reused or responsibly recycled, keeping valuable materials out of landfills.
· Support a great cause: this recycling project directly to supports Keep Wales Tidy’s important environmental work with communities across Cardiff and Wales as a whole
Accepted items include:
· Laptops, tablets, and desktop PCs
· Keyboards, mice, and cables
· Mobile phones and telephone equipment
· Printers and more
