Purple Flag is an international accreditation programme that aims to reward destinations that achieve excellence in the evening and night-time economy. Purple Flag strives to help create safe and thriving locations at night for all users.
The Association of Town and City Management (ATCM) Purple Flag accreditation has been awarded to Cardiff for the last 6 years due to our exemplary partnership working and annual commitment to improving and developing the safety of the city centre.
The successful renewal reflects strong collaboration between key partners, including FOR Cardiff, South Wales Police, Cardiff Council, British Transport Police, and the Cardiff Licensees Forum.
