Purple Flag
Purple Flag is an international accreditation programme that aims to reward destinations that achieve excellence in the evening and night-time economy. Purple Flag strives to help create safe and thriving locations at night for all users.
The Association of Town and City Management (ATCM) Purple Flag accreditation has been awarded to Cardiff for the last 3 years due to our exemplary partnership working and annual commitment to improving and developing the safety of the city centre.
We will continue to strive for this mark of approval to help demonstrate that Cardiff is a safe place to visit in the evening, with a varied offer, and market the city as such.
